I would like to thank all who have helped me this year in the shop, their help has been very much appreciated. Especially Martin Ball and Brian Hunter for driving the mobile shop to the venue's. Actually the shop was very popular with the new merchandise. The Poultry
enthusiast was able to purchase items with a good variety of breed's on posters, key rings, fridge magnets, rulers and, of course mugs.
On another note, my husband Vaughan and I have been over to England guests of the BBC filming for the new series of JIMMY'S FARM, this is to be broadcast February early March BBC2. Jimmy Doherty has come a long way since his first series and is making a good success of selling the Pork in fact his sausages sell at £1 each. He now has 50 sows mostly Essex and 10 full time workers. He also has been successful in the show ring getting a first prize with a very nice Essex sow at the Westmoreland show. So watch out for this it should be very entertaining. Don't forget about his book which is called "Jimmy Doherty on the Farm".
